Andy Mayson

Andy Mayson is Exclusive Media Group’s Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. He joined Hammer in February 2008 and prior to this was Chief Operating Officer of Icon’s UK Group of companies for five years. He was responsible for development, production and international sales activities and UK distribution, overseeing releases that included It’s a Boy Girl Thing, Apocalypto, Alpha Dog, Bridge to Terabithia and La Vie en rose.

Executive Producer credits include It’s a Boy Girl Thing with Elton John and David Furnish’s Rocket Pictures, The Darwin Awards starring Joe Fiennes and Winona Ryder, and On a Clear Day staring Peter Mullen and Brenda Blethyn.

Before joining Icon, Mayson was Managing Director of Artists Independent Network Limited, the London and New York based talent company, whose clients included John Malkovich, Harvey Keitel, Gerard Depardieu, Samantha Morton and Jamie Bell.

From 1997 until 2001, Mayson was the Chief Operating Officer of Intermedia, a prominent diversified entertainment group. He was heavily involved in the purchase of the Largo and Mayfair feature film libraries, and had a significant role in negotiating and implementing $300m of film financing facilities for the group.

Prior to Intermedia, Mayson worked as Chief Financial Officer at PolyGram Filmed Entertainment International joining from Working Title Films Ltd., where he worked as Chief Financial Officer for three years. He was closely involved in a number of productions, most notably Four Weddings and a Funeral.
