Alex Walton

Alex Walton is Exclusive Media's President of International Sales and Distribution. Alex joined Exclusive Media in May 2010 and has since overseen sales and all aspects of the distribution business on Rush, Directed by Ron Howard, starring Chris Hemsworth, Olivia Wilde, and Daniel Bruhl, End of Watch, directed by David Ayer, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Michael Pena and Anna Kendrick, The Ides Of March, directed by George Clooney, starring George Clooney, Ryan Gosling, Paul Giamatti, Philip Seymour Hoffman, and Marisa Tomei, The Woman In Black, directed by James Watkins, starring Daniel Radcliffe, The Way Back, directed by Peter Weir starring Colin Farrell and Ed Harris, and Let Me In, directed by Matt Reeves starring  Kodi Smit-McPhee, Chloe Moretz and Richard Jenkins.

Prior to joining Exclusive, Alex served as Senior Vice President of International Sales at Paramount Vantage. During his three years there, Alex was responsible for running the International Sales division, representing films from Paramount Pictures, and overseeing the distribution of Overture Films product in international territories. He worked on International Sales and distribution of films including Shutter Island, Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story, No Country For Old Men, Into The Wild, Son Of Rambow, The Kite Runner, Last Chance Harvey, Traitor and The Crazies. 

Prior to Paramount, Alex was at HanWay Films in the UK, where he was Director of International sales, handling such films as Woody Allen’s Match Point, Milos Forman’s Goya’s Ghosts, Julian Jarrold’s Becoming Jane, Richard Linklater’s Fast Food Nation, and Noah Baumbach’s The Squid And The Whale.

Before beginning his career in film, Alex attended Newcastle University in England, where he graduated with BA Hons in Combined Arts, majoring in History.
