Dan Stutz
Dan Stutz joined Exclusive Media in May 2011 as its Executive Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs. He is responsible for overseeing the company's entire legal and business affairs department.
Prior to joining Exclusive, Dan was employed by The Film Department as Executive Vice President, Business and Legal Affairs. Joining that company at its inception, he conceived, structured and established the company's business and legal affairs policies and procedures. He also provided counsel in connection with all aspects of the development, financing, production and distribution of the company's motion pictures.
In 2003, Dan was hired as Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs at Yari Film Group where he was involved in the business and legal affairs matters on over twenty star-driven films including The Illusionist starring Edward Norton and Jessica Biel, Prime starring Meryl Streep and Uma Thurman, and Academy Award Best Picture winner Crash. Prior to joining Yari Film Group, Dan spent over four years as an associate at the boutique Beverly Hills entertainment law firm of Weissmann, Wolff, Bergman, Coleman, Grodin & Evall. Before entering private practice at the firm, Dan spent a year as a judicial clerk in United States District Court for the Honorable Judge Dickran Tevrizian. He earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Michigan Law School, and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Dan is also a member of the UCLA Entertainment Symposium Advisory Committee.
