Summit takes SNITCH for U.S. distribution

Summit has taken domestic distribution for Snitch, which stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and is directed by Ric Roman Waugh. The film will be co-financed by Exclusive Media Group, Participant Media and Imagenation Abu Dhabi. Exclusive Films International is handling global sales.

Exclusive is producing the movie with Johnson and his producing partner Dany Garcia as well as Frontline’s David Fanning. Justin Haythe (Revolutionary Road) wrote the screenplay, which is inspired by a Frontline documentary.

Story centers on a father (Johnson) who goes undercover to expose a drug dealer so as to reduce the 10-year mandatory sentence handed-down to his teenage son.
